The Institute of Psychology of the Université de Neuchâtel (UniNE) received international recognition and numerous awards, in particular for its research works, published in various languages, on the role of social interactions in cognitive development and on the psychology of learning - including in vocational training and multicultural settings. These research works encompassed original analyses of topics such as human-machine interaction in school and in professional school, learning with ICT, implementing ICT in school; the role of the social and cultural context in learning; and thinking processes in interaction. The Institute has been closely associated with the implementation of innovative, IT-based learning projects, in particular in secondary level schools, professional training and regional development. The group is involved in academic teaching, and takes part in adult, teachers, speech therapists, linguists and anthropologists training.

UniNE contributes to WP8 and WP9, conducting research from a psycho-sociologial point of view.
