The Centre for Curriculum Studies (CLU-U) at UU is one of the most important national centres with expertise on educational material and environments in The Netherlands. It is an educational expertise SME connected to UU. It supports organisations in designing, implementing and evaluating educational environments, with and without technology. To achieve this, CLU-U trains trainers, does research, coaches employees and designs and develops educational products and environments. CLU-U works for profit and non-profit organisations like schools, public and private companies, publishers, the government etc. The expertise of the group converges on the study of learning activities in educational contexts, with a strong focus on collaborative learning and electronic environments. Recently, CLU-U participated in DUNES and SCALE projects. UU participates in WP3, WP8, WP9, WP11 and WP12.
